Marissa was born in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan and then lived a childhood with a different type of residence following her father who worked at PT Pertamina. From kindergarten and elementary school in Palembang, South Sumatra, then moved to Jakarta and continued his basic education at SD Tebet Timur Pagi III. He then continued his junior high education at SMP Negeri 73, Tebet, Jakarta and high school at SMA Negeri 8, Bukit Duri, South Jakarta.
